Title taken from Ed Sheeran's fantastic cover of the original folk song.
Mid Terms are right around the corner and I've never been this nervous. I pride myself in staying calm and rational, not letting myself freak out over school and whatnot. I do not mean for it to happen but my grades are at an all time low. I put in as much effort as I always do but maybe that's not enough anymore. Maybe I'm not as great as I thought I was. Maybe I'm getting worse, or maybe I just got lucky all those other times. The point is, I need to step up my game. It's very hard to do so, considering all the thing's I've been juggling. I'll have to make do. I always do. | On a lighter note, I've made some new friends. The SAT prep group is as jumbled as a group of people can be. Five girls, four boys, in which two are seniors, four are juniors, one's a sophomore, and the last one home schooled with a job already. But we're all thriving for the same thing. Maybe only me and another one are taking the subject tests, but to be honest, I feel happy with them. Probably solely because I get to start over with people who've never heard of me. In addition to my school grades, I need to keep up with the (much better) international students at my SAT classes. |
On an even lighter note, here's my favorite Buzzfeed satire!
Oh, and check out IMPLEXA. It's an online story written and illustrated by two of my great friends. An absolute joy to read, even if you're not into the whole fantasy genre. They update every month like clockwork.
Talk to y'all again later!
